Infinity Sun Rapid Development Ultra Dark
Sunless Tanning Solution is a unique and effective balance between a natural
looking Mediterranean (violet based) color and a RAPID RINSE DHA, making it
truly a favorite among both our service providers and their customers! Gorgeous
color, fresh scent, quick drying and the convenience of a rapid rinse formula!
To use:
- Application should not be too heavy as this is a
very potent product. Skin should be almost dry by the end of the application.
- Apply only to clean, freshly exfoliated skin free of
lotions and deodorant or perfumes
- ALWAYS recommend your clients exfoliate with a non-abrasive Exfoliant for best
results. We recommend our pineapple enzyme exfoliating body mask!
For
a light glow – Rinse in 2 hours
For
a medium tan – Rinse in 4 hours
For
a dark tan – Rinse in 6 to 8 ours

Spray Application
1. ALWAYS Normalize before sunless tanning. Apply
using the low setting in a rapid fashion. You are just misting the body. MAKE SURE the skin is completely dry
before applying the sunless tanning solution.
2. First
coat of Ultra Dark apply on a higher medium setting. Completely dry before
applying you next coat. Dry for about 5
to 10 minutes with the gun or the gun and hair dryer together (warm and cool
air feels nice on the skin and dries it quicker)
3. Apply
a second coat of Ultra Dark on the same higher medium setting. Completely dry
again.
4. If
need be apply a third coat with the same steps as before and completely
dry.
FAQ’s
Do
you spray on the same setting with Rapid Development Ultra Dark as with CLASSIC
Infinity Sun Bronze solution?
Yes. The viscosity (i.e.
thickness) of the solution is very similar. However, if you feel like too much
is coming out of the gun, lower the level (i.e. medium to low) or move the gun
more quickly. The closer you are to the body and the slower you move will
increase the amount of solution going on the body. Use that as your guide.
Should
I clean my machine after I use Rapid Development Ultra Dark solution with the
Infinity Sun Spa lite, Spa or Theater?
You can switch between
solutions simply by putting in a new solution and purging the line. No cleaning
necessary (except coupler. Always clean coupler with Windex as shown on the
video in the owners lounge when switching solution)
What
is the shelf life?
6 months.
What
if my customer says the color looked orange?
Rapid DHA is very potent.
If the color looks orange, it means either the skin was oversaturated or the
tan was left on too long for their complexion. Try spraying a little lighter
and having them rinse a little earlier next time.
What
if the skin fades unevenly in areas?
Uneven fading usually
occurs because the skin is very dry, not correctly exfoliated, the spray was
too heavy for the skin or the solution was left on too long before their shower.
1) Always
Normalize first
2) If
the customer has dry skin, have them moisturize their skin really well for a
few days leading up to the spray tan (not the day of their tan). That really
helps with the “palm tree” crackly effect that happens on dry skin.
3) Make
sure they rinse off in the appropriate time for their skin. Over 6 to 8 hours
the skin may become drier.
4) Ensure
they begin using the extender after their first shower and every day thereafter
to keep the skin hydrated
